Cutting Leather with the Cameo 4 & 3 mm Kraft Blade
In this video class we will discuss leather, set up tips, 3 mm Kraft blade tips, and cutting leather with the Cameo 4.
Join me in this class covering all the tips and tricks to cutting real leather with the Cameo 4 and 3 mm Kraft blade. In this class we cover the topics of leather: what types work & what types don't, how the 3 mm Kraft blade works, tips to getting success with the blade, the Kraft Cut action and Smart Cut technology, cutting leather, and troubleshooting tips.
We will create 3 different projects with high quality real leather, the Silhouette Studio Software, and the Cameo 4 with the 3 mm Kraft blade.

- Cameo 4, Cameo Plus, or Cameo Pro machine
- 3 mm Kraft blade
- Silhouette Strong tack cutting mat (recommend a 12” x 12” mat)
- High quality leather 12” x 12” piece of leather

- Leather punch – highly recommend for the multiple size holes – Amazon or Michaels
- Snap kit
- Earring hardware: jump rings, Fish hook earrings – Michaels or Amazon
- Jewelry pliers (2) – Craft Chameleon
- Hammer to set the snaps

Some thinner leathers could be cut with the older machines – Note: thinner leathers will not be as sturdy and may need 2 layers cut and glued together to give the design weight
