Easily Create Custom Gift Tags & Keepsake Ornaments in Silhouette Studio

In this creative class you'll learn the art of crafting personalized gift tags that double as cherished keepsake ornaments using the basic tools in Silhouette Studio. Using acrylic circles and adhesive vinyl, you'll master the techniques to design and make custom tags for any occasion, be it birthdays, holidays, or special events. You will learn how to easily use the tools in the Silhouette Studio software to create custom designs & I'll share tips for cutting as well.

As a bonus, there is a demo of how to cut adhesive vinyl using the new Silhouette Curio 2.
This class can be completed with any cutting machine that can cut adhesive vinyl.

Supplies Needed:

  • Cutting machine, blade, cutting mat (optional)
  • 3” Acrylic Circles – color of your choice
    Craft Chameleon carries all kinds of colors – glitter is amazing!
    Choose whatever color you want. 1 order = 5 pieces of the same color
  • Adhesive Vinyl of your choice
  • Transfer Tape
  • Diamond Tip Reamer - optional but highly recommend – it’s handy to have
  • Ribbon or twine for gift tags
  • Gift bags, boxes, etc.
  • Weeding Tool, Spatula, Scissors

Welcome! My name is EllyMae and I am the owner and Instructor behind Silhouette Secrets+.

I have been in the cutting machine industry now for almost 20 years with experience in several different brands of machines and products. In 2016, after attending the TJC Licensed Instructor program, I started teaching Silhouette users how they can get to know their Silhouette Studio software and machines. I had no idea where this interest in Silhouette would take me.

I have taught Silhouette users all over the world through both in-person events and online. I have also become one of the top troubleshooters for Silhouette issues worldwide through my experience as an instructor. I am not just an instructor though, I am a craft machine user and I LOVE creating with all kinds of materials.

As an instructor I teach all levels of Silhouette classes for Portrait, Cameo, and Curio users. I love being able to share Silhouette with others!
